Key to the Unknown
After clearing the main story, a new journey that spans across the sprawling world map, the "Key to the Unknown", begins. All four of its chapters can only be experienced through this game-original story.
Visit areas previously unobtainable in the main story as the adventure expands! Taking place in the west, "Investigating the Golden Tales!" has you locating a restaurant in the forest in order to obtain a hidden treasure. You have to pretend to be a couple to get in, though...
A restaurant tucked away somewhere in the forest of Fiore, run by a "Monster Chef", is said to hide a certain “treasure” that is rumored to be hidden in the restaurant; but it seems that only lovebirds can enter..?

Monster Chef is a mysterious monster who runs a restaurant in the forest. He is a romantic who lives for love, but a strange incident causes him to run amok. Can Lucy and her friends bring him back to his senses and get to the “treasure” in the restaurant?
Gildarts, who has consumed a drink that "deepens your feelings for the person you love," is even more concerned about Cana than usual, and searches for her from east to west. However, the seemingly foolish parental figure has deep feelings that only Gildarts and Cana can share... This is a story that also offers a glimpse into the feelings of each team member towards their "parents".
After the battle, we head over to Akane Beach... The "Key to the Unknown" arc, which takes place after the main story, includes an encounter with an unexpected character. Apparently, she is not the only member of the Spriggan 12 visiting the beach…

The battle system has been revamped! Experience real-time fights with flashy magic battles using character-specific "Mode Changes." Use the combined powers of your allies in "Unison Raids", or charged up "Extreme Magic" attacks! Enjoy the new strategies that have been added to your arsenal!
SYSTEM
Break
When the Break Gauge is fully depleted, the enemy will break. During this period, the enemy will not act, and all attacks will be critical. Strike the enemy with an attack before the break is over!
Support Characters
Support characters may be added in battles against certain strong enemies.
Support characters will use their skills to help you when certain conditions are met during battle.

Fairy Rank
During battle, your Fairy Rank is increased by activating skills and performing Link Attacks. As your Fairy Rank increases, your SP (Skill Point) limit and the amount it accumulates will grow, and you will be able to link more skills in a single combo and launch more powerful skills!
Awakening
When attacked by an enemy, the “Awakening Gauge” increases, and the accumulated gauge can be used to activate “Awakening”. "Awakening” provides a significant status increase and automatic recovery of HP and SP. When all gauges are consumed, the player activates a powerful finishing skill and returns to normal. By consuming multiple gauges, the “Extreme Awakening” state becomes even more powerful.
Magic Origins
Magic Origins is the source of a mage's magical power.
By developing the Magic Origins, the character's abilities blossom and are enhanced through increased stats and acquired skills.

Unison Raid
Depleting a powerful enemy's Break Gauge entirely will allow you to perform an even more powerful "Unison Raid" chain attack!
Link Attack
Reducing an enemy's Break Gauge by 1 will allow you to combine forces with your allies and perform a "Link Attack"! The power and elements will change depending on the ally, along with various additional effects!
Support and Extreme Magic
Various characters join Natsu and his team in battle!
Support abilities, activated by equipping their respective characters in battle, as well as Extreme Magic abilities, are gradually earned as the player progresses in the story.

Rogue, the Dragon Slayer from Sabertooth, supports Natsu and his team in battle with strong Dragon Slayer magic that utilises the power of the Shadow Dragon; Extreme Magic, performed in conjunction with ‘Sting’, deals massive damage to all enemies!
Jellal, the mage from Crime Sorcière, once worshipped Zeref and hurt Erza and her friends.
To atone for his sins, he joins the fight against Zeref. He supports Fairy Tail with Heavenly Body Magic and Extreme Magic.

Kagura, the mage from Mermaid Heel, has grown both physically and mentally through her battles. She helps Fairy Tail in their fights with her Extreme Magic and support abilities.
