Which platforms will the game be released on?
The game will be available on four platforms: PlayStation®5, PlayStation®4, Nintendo Switch™, and Steam®. (In some regions, it will only be available as a download version. Please check the information in your specific region for details).
What audio is available? How many languages does the game support?
The audio is only in Japanese. There are five supported in-game languages in total: Japanese, English, French, Traditional Chinese, and Simplified Chinese.
Is Hiro Mashima, the creator of the original series, involved in the supervision?
All aspects of the game, including the graphics and story, have been supervised by Hiro Mashima and Kodansha.
Is the game based on the manga or the anime?
The game is based on the anime, but it also includes elements from the manga.
If I’m not familiar with the original series or haven't played the previous game, "FAIRY TAIL". Will I understand the story?
The game can be enjoyed even if you’re not familiar with the original series or the previous game. In addition to elements that reflect on the past history leading up to the climax, there is also a "glossary" feature, allowing those who don’t know the original "FAIRY TAIL" to play with confidence.
Are there any original elements in the game?
The game features original elements, including "Character Stories", which allow you to interact with characters during your adventures. Additionally, after the main story, you can enjoy an original story unique to this game, "Key to the Unknown". All content, including the original story, has been fully supervised by Hiro Mashima, the creator of the original series, and the series publisher, Kodansha.
Are battles turn-based? Or real-time?
This game features real-time battles with enhanced immersion and intensity compared to the previous game !
Can you choose the difficulty level?
You can choose between four different difficulty levels. For those who may not be confident in battles, there is an easier option called "Story Mode", allowing everyone to enjoy the game with ease.
Will there be additional downloadable content?
In addition to early purchase and pre-order bonuses, there will be several free and paid items available. More details will be announced at a later date, so please stay tuned for updates.
Is the GUILD BOX and COMBO SET available to purchase locally?
The "GUILD BOX" will be sold in Japan, North America, Europe, and Asia (Taiwan/Hong Kong), while the "COMBO SET" will be available in Japan, Europe, and Asia (Taiwan/Hong Kong). However, please note that the content will be in Japanese only for all regions.
